Truckee Literary Crawl debuted April 5 in Truckee, CA featuring 48 creatives
An unforgettable free literary experience was enjoyed at the April 5 Truckee Literary Crawl, where an eclectic mix of authors will showcased the richness of storytelling across multiple genres.
The event kicked off at the Truckee Artist Lofts’ 9848 Gallery. The event continued with readings at downtown locations from 2 to 5 p.m. with poetry, fiction, storytelling, children’s authors, non-fiction and more from 48 creatives. All events were free.
MillValleyLit Editor\Publisher J.Macon King was a featured poet at Craft & Logic Taproom along with the Reno Poet Laureate Jesse James Ziegler.
In the evening, the event featured a “Dark Skies” Open Mic Night at Alibi Truckee for all literary forms – poetry, prose, songwriting, etc. – for works created around a Dark Sky theme, hosted by Nevada County Poet Laureate Karen Terrey. Approximately 100 plus enthusiastic lit fans were in attendance.
